Honourable Zakari Angulu Dobi is a politician to the core and a true democrat who relates to politicians in the territory, irrespective of their political inclinations.
The conciliatory measures became necessary to him to calm both politicians and electorates in the area. The chairman always maintains peace and orderliness among party's members and executives all the times. He also maintains relationship among different interest groups.
When Angulu Dobi was elected as the chairman of the Area council in 2007, he has been pursuing policies and programmes aimed at arresting the problems of the area. He devoted his time for people's oriented projects to move Gwagwalada and its environs to a greater height.

However, for the past three years now, the administration of Angulu Dobi had recorded tremendous successes in the area of projects execution. some of these projects to include the rural clinic at Dobi, provision of primary school at Kutunku, provision of primary health care at Dobi, installation of transformer at Tugan-maje, completion of Anagada linking road and construction of motor park at Dobi.
other projects carried out by the Executive chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council were construction of FRCN/market road in Gwagwalalda town, construction of health centre in Angwar Dobi, construction of health centre at Tsauni, construction of angwar Dodo primary school, solo power motorized water supply at Tugan-maje and construction of health centre at Zuba
Honourable Angulu Dobi who did not relent in his efforts in the area of execution of projects went further to rehabilitate Zuba township road, rehabilitation of Dobi township road, provision of transformer at workers village in phase one, provision of tractors for the use of farmers and construction of primary school at Kutunku.
In the area of human development, Honourable Angulu Dobi has contributed a lot for the upliftment of politicians and electorates in Gwgwalada and its environs.
He also deemed it necessary to put smiles on the faces of the council's staff for the benefit of mutual understanding.
Of recent, the Gwagwalada chairman was conferred with meritorious service award by Dobi community for his outstanding performance in the area. The chairman was also scored high by Dobi community in the field of developmental projects at Dobi.
Meanwhile, if Honourable Angulu Dobi is voted for the second term in office, it would pave way for more development in the Area council. On this note, the residents of Gwagwalada should endeavour to vote for the credible candidates in April 10, 2010 Area council elections.

FCT Minister Sen. Adamu Aleiro has assured residents of the territory of credible elections in the forthcoming Area Council polls.
Represented by his Special Assistant Political Matters, Alh. Aminu Kurfi gave the assurance at the grand rally organized by people Democratic Party (PDP) to sell out manifested of their party flagbearer, Hon. Danladi Zhin. Aliero further told the gathering that his administration would focus on peoples' oriented projects especially the provision of social amenities to FCT residents, noting that already provision has been made in the 2010 budget.
Speaking earlier, the FCT Chairman of PDP, Alh. Alhassan Gwagwa pointed out that the people of the Area have benefited dividends of democracy following the laudable projects executed by incumbent Chairman .He further reminded the people of the area to remember the promised he made to them during the 2007 campaign for Zhin, explaining that he told them that when they voted Zhin would never regret.
He, therefore, called on the entire people of the Area to come out en-mass and vote for PDP in the next coming polls.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of Kuje Area Council who is the PDP flag-bearer, Hon. Danladi Etsu Zhin has expressed appreciation to the people of the Area.
According g to him, he is satisfied that PDP is the winning party in the Area due to the mammoth crowd seen in the occasion.
The chairman further added that his administration would give priority to projects aimed at meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people of the area.
Zhin noted that as soon as he assumed office he awarded the contract for building of a befitting hall which has been in use for the benefit of the entire people of the area. The Chairman also told the gathering that this government has constructed six roads across the Area Council and its environs.
Hon. Zhin also reminded the people of the area to rally round PDP that the monthly allocation given to the Area Council was not meant for him and his family alone but for the entire people of Kuje, stressing that there is a need to use it judiciously.
High point of the event included acceptance of thousand politicians who decamp from other political parties to PDP.
In a related development, the FCT Minister Alh. Adamu Aliero has enjoined the people of Kwali Area Council to vote PDP in the forthcoming April polls.
Represented by his Chief of Staff Alh. Abubakar Sadiq reminded residents of the area to vote for all PDP flag-bearers in Kwali.
On his part, the FCT Chairman of the party, Alh. Alhassan Gwagwa has called on the entire people of Kwali to give Hon. Yebu a second chance.
